I am an insatiable reader and wordsmith, with a life-long passion for literature and language. As a child, I read the dictionary totally enthralled for hours and I considered the library card my golden passport to miraculous realms. As a poet, essayist, and short story writer I chart mysterious interior territories I could not have accessed in any other way. I have written three poetry chapbooks; The Lost Tribe Chronicles, The Indigo Kimono, and Russet Tweeds, a book of essays called Over The Wall and Beyond. I’m presently at work on a novel called Brogans Book and will have a book of erotic poetry called Libidinous Intentions, out in the fall of 2009. My work has been widely published in the Praxis Review, Sage Woman, Phoenix Rising, Wild River, and other publications. I’ve read my work at the Lamplight Poetry Series, Other Voices, University of Arizona Poetry Center, Tucson Museum of Art, Reader’s Oasis, the Screening Room, and Poetic Visions at the Tucson Museum of Art.
