ENVIRONMENTALIST:  The Path of Nature

I am a dedicated activist for conservation, preservation, and protection of our precious land, air, water, wildlife, and quality of life.  Nature has always been my haven and my teacher.  More at home in the wild than in the tame, I spend every spare moment in nature.





I teach environmental education in a variety of venues and am an ardent member of organizations devoted to the environment including; Sky Island Alliance www.skyislandalliance.org , Center for Biological Diversity www.biologicaldiversity.org and Defenders of Wildlife www.defendersofwildlife.org .  With training from the  Penesquitos Tracking Team in San Diego www.sdtt.org I have made wildlife tracking a cornerstone of my understanding of habitat use and the life patterns of animals. 

I am the Co-Founder of Friends of the Jaguar, an education, advocacy and habitat protection organization dedicated to welcoming back ancestral jaguar to Southern Arizona.  I have worked as a vet tech and in Project Wildlife rehabilitation centers to repair and repatriate injured wildlife back into the wild.

Working for many years in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in California, I was privileged to complete intense certification programs in the Archaeology and Paleontology Departments.

 My passion is archaeology and I have been fortunate to practice my passion at ancient sites around the world and with the National Forest Service’s Passport In Time program.
