	Coming of age in the provocative, progressive late 60’s and working on the front lines of the peace, civil rights, social justice, and women’s rights movements helped shape and define my life.


	Educated as a nurse and an archaeologist, I have combined a life-long fascination with the healing arts and the mythologies and ethnographies of spiritual, emotional, and psychic transformation embedded in the history of the past.


	A nature child, more comfortable in the primitive natural world than in the modern, technical world, I’ve spent most of my life nurtured by the earth’s wild places, living in rural environments, closely in touch with the Gaia and her creatures.


	Deeply involved in life on every level, I’ve spent over forty years working on peace and social justice issues, developing a career in compassionate care giving, nurturing a family, teaching, and mentoring, evolving as a poet and artist and coming into myself as a human being.
